The New Supreme Court of the Philippines Design Competition

This design entry submitted for the International Conceptual Design Competition for the new Supreme Court Complex in 2017, won third place. Its design, a modern twist on the traditional nipa hut or house on stilts, conveyed authority. As a net zero building, it optimized energy efficiently while utilizing renewable water and energy sources. Integrated cross ventilation ensured thermal comfort, given the country's tropical weather.
