The expansion and renovation of Southwestern University Medical Center in Cebu City aimed to establish a strong synergy between the hospital and its affiliate university, Southwestern University-PHINMA. This endeavor aims to position them as the top choice for healthcare and medical education in Cebu. Envisioned as a tertiary hospital, the project included a masterplan for the medical quadrant, the addition of medical colleges, a new hospital building, and a dental college.
