Since its inception in the 1950s, Mary Mediatrix Medical Center has continuosly evolved to meet the needs of its communities. This conceptual plan to modernize it aimed to integrate old and new buildings seamlessly. New additions would have included a cancer center; a parking space; and green spaces such as a roof deck and garden which ould have enhanced holistic healing.
