Frassati Gymnasium-Universidad de Sta. Isabel de Naga

The Frassati Gymnasium at the Universidad de Sta. Isabel-Naga underwent redevelopment to meet the university's expanding needs. The sustainable redevelopment expanded the venue for classes and gatherings, and added more office and storage space. The gym, including the court area, can accommodate one thousand people and has three hundred bleachers. The building maximized natural light and ventilation to minimize energy consumption. Louvers were incorporated into the design for passive cooling and to prevent rain from entering.
