The Amorita Resort, nestled on Alona Beach in Bohol, stands as a prime example of designing a modern, eco-friendly, and sustainable resort. Featuring ample landscaped open spaces and gardens, its design respected the environment by incorporating indigenous materials. The entire resort was a collaborative effort completed in several phases. In the first phase, 260 Architects led the masterplan and construction of villas, deluxe rooms, a poolside restaurant and dive center. Landscape design was overseen by the late PLA Franklin “Frank” Borja. The second phase, a collaboration between 260 Architects, Budji Layug, and Arch. Royal Pineda, expanded on the initial phase with new seaside villas, bedroom suites, a restaurant, a pool, and an “Artist’s Village”.
